Money kōrero

You might feel uncomfortable talking about money with your friends and whānau – it can be a tricky topic. But so many good things can come out of talking about it and sharing your thoughts and goals.

Whānau and friends can:

  • help you to achieve your goals
  • give you advice
  • share their own stuff and what they’ve learnt
  • listen and provide support when you’re in a bad situation
  • inspire you
  • do the 14-day challenge and create a spending plan with you
  • help you realise that you’re not alone!

The young people in the videos below have started the kōrero. Their stories are real. They have put themselves out there because they believe their stories will help other young Māori to spend smarter, face their debt, save for the future and achieve goals.
